The stores, the maison, and the artistic direction of Acqua di Sardegna
Acqua di Sardegna was the first perfume maison to tell the whole story of the richness of our island.
Since 2008, with wisdom and passion it has been creating fragrances and essences loved all over the world, thanks to the guidance of founder and creative director Mauro Aprea and the excellence of the best international master perfumers. The design, devised for each package, reveals careful attention to detail and renders a faithful image of the unspoiled nature from which it takes its inspiration. Alghero is the place where everything took shape, a special place where history and nature mingle between the Aragonese ramparts and the sea foam that caresses them. It was here that we established our headquarters, and found inspiration for our first perfume line, ACQUA Eau de parfum for women, men and unisex. A citrusy breath, fresh and light as a sea breeze.
Between 2010 and 2016 we created new collections, inspired by the determined and proud character of Sardinian women and men (Maijda); by the hidden, wild places that Sardinia keeps intact through time (Desvélos); by the refined, Mediterranean atmosphere of a Jet Set of yesteryear, when the Gallura coast was a secret landing place for a few connoisseurs (Scalo Porto Cervo); by the scents of the sun and the color of the sea (Smeralda).
In 2017 our Maison gives birth to a luxury collection, the first niche line . Each perfume tells a story or a legend of the island passed down from era to era. Next came , the second line and the new line Hìrvu, the first unisex sports fragrance. Over the years we have produced, in addition to personal fragrances, a line of room essences and several body fragrance lines.
