This sample kit is here to put things back in the right order. Inside you will find ten fragrances chosen among the most loved of the Classic Collection, one for every character of the island.
There is also the Extrait de Parfum Scalo Porto Cervo Unisex, the highest concentration we produce.
You take them home and try them in your own life, not under the lights of a perfume shop. One at a time, without rushing: eleven samples are eleven days of testing.
What changes compared to testing in a shop is time. After eight hours a perfume is no longer the one you started with, and that is the version you will really wear.
You notice it in the evening, when you take off your sweater and find it still there.
At some point one of them will start to be missed on the days you do not wear it. Usually that is the right one, even when it is not the one you would have bet on at the start.

The olfactory notes of the eleven fragrances
There is not just one pyramid, there are eleven. Together they tell the island from the open sea to the scrubland.
Top: bergamot, lemon and mandarin in Smeralda, water lily, seaweed and yuzu in Hìrvu Sea Power, lavender and marine notes in Desvélos, blackcurrant in Scalo Porto Cervo Jet Set
Heart: myrtle and citron in Desvélos, jasmine, mimosa and almond blossom in Smeralda, rose, peony and white peach in Maijda, ylang-ylang and orange blossom in Jet Set
Base: sandalwood, vanilla and tonka bean in Smeralda, vetiver, patchouli and amber in Desvélos, leather and amber wood in Scalo Porto Cervo Man
The opening is dominated by the fresh, citrus and marine side. In the heart the flowers and the Mediterranean arrive. In the base the warm side remains, the one you smell at the end of the day.
How to test the perfume samples
One sample at a time, one day each.
- Spray on your wrists and in the inner elbow, where the skin is warmer.
- Do not rub, because it breaks the top notes.
- Forget about it for twenty minutes: the real perfume arrives once it has married your skin.
- Check it again in the evening before going to bed, because many fragrances play everything out there.
If you can, keep the fresher ones for the day and the warmer ones for the evening. They were born for different moments, and worn at the wrong hour they give less.
Eau de Parfum and Extrait de Parfum compared
Two different concentrations live side by side in the kit. They change how long the perfume lasts and the distance at which it can be smelled.
