The subtle, elusive aroma that embraces us as we look out over the sea, from the dunes and dry, stony ground. It comes from the light green leaves of a small plant with bright yellow flowers: just rub them between your fingers to release it, and you will be bewitched forever.

Helichrysum is the combination of the Greek words meaning “sun” and “gold”. It is the medicinal plant that grows tenaciously among the rocks and adorns the beaches with the bright yellow of its small round flowers from April until summer. Its scent is aromatic and evocative, taking you in a flash to the fine white sand, small coastal lagoons and rocky slopes that lie under the Sardinian sun.
