How to test the perfume samples

- Spray on your wrists and in the inner elbow, where the skin is warmer.
- Do not rub, because it breaks the top notes.
- Forget about it for twenty minutes: the real perfume arrives once it has married your skin.
- Check it again in the evening before going to bed, because many fragrances play everything out there.
If you can, keep the fresher ones for the day and the warmer ones for the evening. They were born for different moments, and worn at the wrong hour they give less.

There are places that stay on you even when you are no longer there.
It is not nostalgia. It is something else. Certain smells take you back there without asking permission. A leaf rubbed between your fingers. The salt air of early morning. The cold incense of a stone church.

The chronicles of the pharaohs tell of a warrior people. They sailed the Great Sea. Horned helmets, long swords, battles between Egypt and the cities of the East. Their name was Shardana. In the end they returned to Sardinia.
We dedicated seven fragrances to them. Each one carries the name of a city, a goddess or a battle. Qadèsh was the clash they won at the pharaoh's side. Sirai was a Punic fortress on a white cliff. Mareos is born around the sacred wells, where life was drawn.

How to use it
On pulse points
Spray 2–3 times from about 15 cm away: wrists, base of the neck, behind the ears. Body heat releases the fragrance throughout the day.
On moisturised skin
Apply after a shower, on clean, moisturised skin: the fragrance holds better and lasts longer. Don't rub your wrists together: it breaks down the top notes.

One spray from 20 cm onto a scarf leaves a subtle trail that follows every movement.

How do I try the samples on my skin?
Spray from about fifteen centimetres away, on the points where your pulse beats: wrists, base of the neck, behind the ears. There, body heat is higher and opens up the fragrance. Afterwards, don't rub your wrists together: it's what almost everyone does, but it breaks down the fragrance molecules and makes it last less.
What's the right way to try them, given how fragrances work?
One fragrance at a time, and give it time. In the first few minutes you only smell the top notes, which evaporate quickly; what's left after that, the heart and base notes, is the fragrance you'll actually wear. If you're trying more than one, let a few minutes pass and smell the crook of your elbow or some coffee beans to reset your nose. Go light with the Extrait: one or two sprays are enough, it's the highest concentration we produce.
How long do I have to redeem the discount code?
You have 20 days from when you receive the code. After that it expires and no longer works, so keep an eye on the date in the email.
How do I enter the promo code on the site?

What are the shipping times and costs?
The parcel ships within one business day of payment: if you order Friday evening, we ship on Monday. In Italy it goes with TNT, costs €3.90 and arrives in 2-3 business days. It's tracked, delivery doesn't require a signature, and we email you the tracking link.
Is shipping free?
In Italy, yes, above €90 spent. Below that threshold you pay €3.90. In Europe it starts at €7.90 and becomes free above €150.
How do returns work?
You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind, with products and packaging intact. Samples that have already been tried, however, can't be returned: for hygiene reasons we can't take them back. The full terms are on the Returns and Refunds page.
